Terms of Trade — Version 1, October 2026

  1. Payment Terms. All invoices are payable in full within 15 days from the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Global Harvest Food. Payments must be made without deduction, set-off or counterclaim.
  2. Late Payment & Suspension of Supply. Global Harvest Food may charge interest on overdue amounts at 2.5% per month, calculated daily from the due date until payment is received in full. Where any amount is overdue, or the Customer's credit limit is exceeded, Global Harvest Food may suspend further supply and/or require payment before delivery until the account is brought up to date.
  3. Credit Limit. Global Harvest Food will set the Customer's credit limit and may review or change it at any time at its discretion. The Customer must not exceed the approved credit limit.
  4. Prices. All prices are subject to change without notice. Quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue. Prices exclude GST unless stated otherwise.
  5. Ownership of Goods. Title to goods supplied remains with Global Harvest Food until full payment has been received for those goods and for all other amounts owing by the Customer. Until then, the Customer holds the goods as bailee for Global Harvest Food.
  6. Security Interest (PPSA). The Customer acknowledges that these terms create a security interest in all goods supplied, and their proceeds, under the Personal Property Securities Act 1999 (PPSA). The Customer consents to Global Harvest Food registering a financing statement on the Personal Property Securities Register, will provide any information reasonably required for this, and waives its right to receive a verification statement. To the extent permitted by law, the Customer agrees that sections 114(1)(a), 133 and 134 of the PPSA do not apply.
  7. Delivery & Risk. Risk in the goods passes to the Customer upon delivery. Delivery times are estimates only, and Global Harvest Food is not liable for any loss or delay arising from late delivery.
  8. Returns & Claims. Claims for short delivery, defective goods or incorrect invoicing must be made in writing within 7 days of receipt of the goods. Goods may only be returned with Global Harvest Food's prior approval. Chilled, frozen and perishable goods cannot be returned unless faulty.
  9. Privacy. The Customer authorises Global Harvest Food to make credit enquiries, to contact the trade references provided in this application, and to exchange information with credit reporting and debt collection agencies, for the purpose of assessing credit and recovering debts. Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020, and individuals may request access to and correction of their information.
  10. Debt Collection Costs. The Customer agrees to pay all costs (including legal costs on a solicitor/client basis) incurred by Global Harvest Food in recovering or attempting to recover overdue amounts. This includes costs charged by debt collection agencies and legal representatives.
  11. Termination. Global Harvest Food reserves the right to suspend or terminate supply or credit terms at any time. On termination, all amounts owing by the Customer become immediately due and payable.
  12. Business Purposes. The Customer acquires goods for the purposes of a business. To the extent permitted by law, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply, and the Customer agrees that sections 9, 12A, 13 and 14(1) of the Fair Trading Act 1986 do not apply to supplies under these terms.
  13. Changes to the Customer. The Customer must notify Global Harvest Food in writing within 7 days of any change in its name, ownership, directors, address or legal structure. The Customer remains liable for all amounts owing until such notice is received.
  14. Variation. Global Harvest Food may amend these terms by giving written notice to the Customer. Placing an order after notice is given constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
  15. Governing Law. These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

How do I open a trade account?
Complete our online Customer Credit Application. We review your application, check your trade references and confirm your credit limit and account details with you.
What are your payment terms?

How do I place an order?

What if goods arrive damaged, short or incorrect?
Let us know in writing within 7 days of receiving the goods and we'll sort it out with you. Chilled, frozen and perishable goods can only be returned if faulty.
What are your business hours?
Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, and Saturday 9:00am – 2:00pm. WhatsApp messages sent outside these hours are answered when we next open.
